“Deplorables” Comment was #1 Reason Undecided Voters Switched to Trump

That should come as no surprise.

Insulting the voters isn't exactly a winning strategy. You would think her campaign would have learned something after the backlash they got when Madeline Albright made her "special place in Hell" comment before the New Hampshire Primary. But then, she's such a nasty woman, she can't help herself.

Researchers monitor trends in every election cycle, and one of the most interesting trends in the 2016 election was the high number of undecided voters. These voters broke hard for Donald Trump in the last weeks of the campaign, cementing his unlikely victory. Many analysts have sought to understand what drew undecided voters to Trump. In their studies, and across many interviews, the biggest factor that emerged was Hillary Clinton’s “deplorables” comment, on September 9.

So they vote for the nastiest fuck ever.

Hillary needed to watch Blazing Saddles again:

By the way, Mell Brooks's Gov. Lepetomane is a perfect send up of Trump as chief executive.

That's right Finn.

Double down on a losing bet.

That seems to be the Democrats strategy on just about everything.

That's why, in spite of how premature it may seem, I'm giving Trump a 70-80% chance of being re-elected for a second term.

I think the results so far out of the new sheriff in town and his supporters, proves the label to be a true interpretation.

Putin made her use the "deplorables" quote, thus tipping the election in Trump's favor.

Hillary was spot on. She also could have used the term malcontents.

American people don't want to hear the truth, they want to hear fantasy, they want to hear that which confirms what they already believe. I don't know when Americans started rejecting truth. These deplorables, these malcontents are miserable nasty people who want to drag everyone down to their level in the gutter. They know no high road. They want everyone to be miserable. Deplorables, the vessel that has been corroded by hate. And no vessel has been more corroded than my friend Tom Joad. I have watch the insanity take hold of my friend over the past decade and destroy him from the inside out. He used to be a good honorable man of righteous anger. He let the anger turn to hate and it has destroyed him.

This is why our country is failing and will continue to fail.

I remember when this country was a shining beacon.....

The best thing we can do to combat the deplorables? Be happy, be polite. Ignore their insane rantings.

Nothing burns a trump supporter more than a happy well adjusted and content person.

I disagree. Hillary herself was a very weak candidate and only got the nomination through cheating. All she managed to do was to point the finger at herself. A politician never gets to win by insulting the voters. Besides what did Hillary to present herself as a better choice? She was either hiding or slamming Trump.

But since americans no longer demand any kind of excellence in their leaders we got what we deserved eh?
