Overheated rhetoric could be said with a great deal of accuracy to have started the Revolution.

I learned a life lesson dealing with a French Quebecer for work. I thought he was something of an ass. It took a number of years, but I finally figured out he was actually a nice guy, trying to be funny. Cultural differences/perceptions. He might well have been quite the cutup in his.

Almost surrealistic. Do they do everything like that?

That is sooooo cool. I love the way European engineers think. It's so "out of the box".

Jokes do not translate worth shit, especially when they are a play on words.

An Englishman is trying to convey an expression to a Russian, He does not speak Russin so he tells a Frenchman who also speaks German and he conveys it to a German who speaks Russian.

The Englishman says "The sprit is willing but the flesh is weak"

The Russian understands "The meat is rotten but there is plenty of Vodka."

Spent lots of time in The Netherlands, nice folks and oh so bloody tall. Admire the way they steal land from the North Atlantic and not their neighbours.
