There is pressure mounting on Poland from the EU. The alacrity of the democracy norms inquiry and the Standard and Poor cut to Poland's credit rating indicate to me that Poland is being threatened/punished for not going along with Frau Merkel's immigrant fiasco.

The question was whether or not you had any idea at all about the Fascist Polish government's attack on the independence of the press and the judiciary, along with other attacks on other democratic institutions and civil liberties. What Tusk didn't say is that the EU actions and those of Standard & Poor's have anything at all to do with Poland's position on the refugee crisis. To the contrary, the article and those quoted acknowledge that it's about Poland's assault on the freedom of its people, just as I said.
