Hmm, cannabis compounds? The article didn't come out and say regular ol' weed so I wonder if they're excluding it? This could be a game changer. Sure beats the hell outa' horse paste and pee drinking.

Not sure of the bona fides of this "Journal of Natural Products" they cite. "Products?" That word doesn't seem right, sounds commercially-driven.

Also, note that this story here does not say that toking up would effectively deliver the particular compounds identified as helpful to the necessary tissues of the body. The story really offers no hints as to how this might be accomplished. That would in fact require bunches more research to figure out, establish necessary dosage, and demonstrate.

On second thought, the publisher looks quite legit, as do the authors.

I agree. Seems that journal refers to 'plant products' in a botanic sense, not a commercial sense. I am possibly too cynical about stuff on the internet anymore....
