Obama lost a lot of - let's say - "fans" in the last months and years, not only in the United States, but globally. The weekly magazine "Die Zeit" titeled some time ago "Obama - From Superstar to becoming a loser". This is perhaps a bit too harsh. For sure in the beginning my Obama glorification was a fault, but the reality was and is a bitter contrast to what I expected he could have achieved. I am bitterly disappointed for example concerning climate change issues, his efforts have been much too weak, because in my opinion he is a puppet on the strings of economy and lobbyism. It seems - another example - that the mighty NRA has more power and influence concerning some matters of domestic policy than he has. This man is tired. He deserves retirement but there are still two years to cope with.
