He would likely be earning more, just as he likely may be earning less. Unions can not do anything more than negotiate with management for the pay and benefits of the employees. He may actually be making less, considering the union fees for representing him.
By the way Mr. D-Ray, do you belong to a union ???

But, great paying jobs like that just have to go, because guys like you feel that nobody (outside of management) deserves that kind of pay.......Am I Right?

I would have had a little difficulty paying $65,000 worth of medical bills on $9 an hour. (1989). Especially when, during the process, I was told by management that "If you have heart problems, you can't work here anymore.". I worked there for 3 years after that incident......with a bullseye on my back.
So, Bill, don't hand me any of your usual "kindly employer" BS. I don't buy it. If such a thing does exist, I have as yet to find it.

During college I was proudly a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Currently I am a member of the Lawyers Coordinating Committee, affiliated with the AFL-CIO.

Then you asked the wrong question, dim bulb.
If you can't figure out what I mean or what the right question should have been that's just too damn bad. You get no help from me.
