Gentlemen, think of what he represents. The man did not get as wealthy as he is worrying about the wellbeing of autoworkers in MI. Hell, the people who once employed those workers only did so until it was more financially advantageous to DUMP THEM and get the work done elsewhere. That's just how it is. It's the nature of such folks. Anyone who voted for this guy, buying the line that he was in it to "...make great deals for the American people." is a fool. The instinct will always be to do what's "..good for the business.." and the bottom line. If people get in the way...... Well, it's not personal, it's just business.

Is Trump Left or Right? IMO, Trump is whatever gets him elected and puts him in the position to influence regulation and reduce taxes on his business.

A lot of people are in for a disappointment.

Or, maybe not.

Because slick talkers like Trump, (Or Reagan.), are also very good at convincing people the screwing is for their own good.

Trump is probably smarting at the fact that he cannot fire Mueller easily anymore.
And I also wonder why he fired Comey if Bannon thought it was fatal political error.
Chances are that Ryan and McConnel are not very keen on being seen showering rose petals at Trump (kissing butt) and so he is pouting and trying to get even.

As our resident Trump expert whell has posted above, Trump has no ideology to protect.

For contrast, Jeff Sessions said this formally announcing the end to the DACA program.

“There is nothing compassionate about the failure to enforce immigration laws. … Failure to enforce the laws in the past has put our nation at risk of crime, violence and even terrorism. … The effect of this unilateral executive amnesty, among other things, contributed to a surge of unaccompanied minors on the southern border that yielded terrible humanitarian consequences. It also denied jobs to hundreds of thousands of Americans by allowing those same jobs to go to illegal aliens.”

Most of what Sessions claimed has been debunked. Then Trump said this yesterday.

“Does anybody really want to throw out good, educated and accomplished young people who have jobs, some serving in the military? Really!” Trump tweeted yesterday. “They have been in our country for many years through no fault of their own — brought in by parents at young age.”

A real change in policy or a vendetta against Sessions?
