So here is what that means to me: We should not have called the list a slippery slope argument because it contains actual evidence in the line items themselves that have actually happened.

This whole thing is about questioning authority and its motives. I swear, kids today don't even understand what the words, "question authority" even mean. Scott Adams explains why you stop believing everything you hear in the press as you age and acquire experience in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ac8OOeaIgFo&t=706s

It's long so I suppose most won't watch it. But it covers it. BTW, the title is "How to Fail at Almost Everything".

And on a side note, these Hoover Institute interviews with Peter Robinson are usually really good.

And try to watch more George Carlin routines.
I have always told my kids to "think for yourself, question authority".

Excellent, Chicks! And there are plenty more stories just like that, and lots more to come.

Rose’s final post appeared on July 3 2020, a meme that read:

When you see me in heaven don’t shit yourselves you judgmental pricks.

Comments on the post between July 4 2020 and July 7 2020 appeared to be solely from Rose’s friends, expressing shock and grief at his death. On July 10 2020, a number of new comments — apparently spurred by posts about his comments and death — appeared:

Does he still think it’s a hoax though?

"Thoughts and prayers", you dumbfuck.

It’s just a blood test.

It’s just a test.

It’s just a scan.

It’s just for medical information.

It’s just to store a vaccination certificate.

It’s just like a credit card.

It’s just a few places that don’t take cash.

It’s just so you can travel.

It’s just so you can get your driver’s license.

It’s just so you can vote.

More right-wing nutcase conspiracy theory.

"It's just a boxcar."

Yes, I'm sure that people who refuse to wear masks will end up in boxcars.

We need emojis. That one would be :crazy

Yeah. Anecdotal stories. Like my wife and brother, on different ends of the country two years ago. One had the flu for six weeks and the other for four. Both almost died. One had had a flu shot, the other hadn't.

I've seen posts on the internet by plenty of Karens that argue for that type of solution, yes. And that's part of the problem.

Patient, 30, Dies After Attending 'COVID Party' in Texas, Told Nurse 'I Think I Made a Mistake'
The patient had attended a "COVID party" hosted by someone who tested positive for coronavirus

https://people.com/health/30-year-ol...d-party-texas/

One would have to be quite stupid, indeed, to do this, and Insane to do it without a mask. There will be no “thoughts and prayers” from me for idiots like this.

'Anecdote' is the science culture pejorative for 'story.' Scientists are trained not to be convinced by stories, they want the statistically-significant data. But most people aren't convinced by data, they want stories.

Two more weeks of stories like this and all these anti-maskers will quietly put on masks. Just like that.
