I'm three episodes into this. Good action thriller, that features the contrast between 'Norwegian culture' and 'elite warrior culture,' by following a hero who expresses both.

'Gentleman's agreement'

filmed in 1947, oddly even more appropriate today.

A few nights ago I went to the theater and saw La La Land. I did not know that it is a musical. The opening dance put a smile on my face and it stayed through the movie.

This movie stirred emotions in me like Grease did. It is a nice story.

Pelo Malo(Bad Hair)

I borrowed this DVD from the library. It is in Spanish, with English sub.

It is filmed in Caracas Venezuela. A single parent mother in the time of Chavez contends with the pressure cooker that is Caracas and the fear that her nine year old son is homosexual.

We started watching the remake of National Lampoon's Vacation this weekend. I made it less than 10 minutes, my wife turned it off after an hour. There is a difference between silly and stupid. It was stupid.

'Music of the Heart'

with some overrated actor named Streep. This Streep woman plays a violin teacher at some public school in New York full of lazy kids. They end up having a benefit concert at some old run down dump called Carnegie Hall to save the program.

Boring...
