Join! Even if things get a little heated a) you can be anonymous b) opposing viewpoints can be enlightening and horizon-expanding and c) it can be fun.

It's surprising how discussing events of the day in a non moderated forum can lead to good online friends of opposite opinions regardless if it seems occasionally otherwise.
