Just heard these fellows on NPR and have to say I really like what they are preaching. http://www.madashelldoctors.com/

I agree with these guys 110%!

Fricken health, insurance and drug companies are robbing Americans blind and it ain't gonna stop unless there is a public option!

It's amazing that, once again, special interest groups have dictated public policy. What's more amazing is that so many Americans spout their talking points for them because they don't want the "other side" to score "political poitns".

Would you go the U.K. route with public and private health care systems running alongside each other? This is what we did. The National Health Care system was set up in 1948 and to keep set-up costs as low as possible, instead of paying specialists and consultants a salary, they got to use NHS equipment on their private patients in exchange for working for an agreed amount of time on NHS patients.

The tea party express was a hell of a lot nicer ride.

Lay a paper in front of me with all the details and costs. So far we're in the dark. Hopefully someone with common sense will do just that and we'll have a plan.

Just a prediction: there will never be a plan that you will support. No amount of detail will change that. Glen Beck will tell you why you're against it.

Oh so now you read minds? listen Pal..we work to pay for our health care. Try doing that when your 70 plus. Not complaining...just explaining. Next time you judge someone...you better know what your talking about.

Can't wait for you to prove me wrong.

I may be wrong about you, but there's no mind reading here. The special interest groups have the Republicans in their pocket. There will not be a proposal- any proposal- and I can say that not having seen all the proposals- that the Republicans will support in any significant way. Maybe a few here and there, but in general, they will be opposed to any bill. Period. It could be written by Jesus Christ himself and they would tell you it's evil.

I'd make a bet on it. $20?
