Pollsters now know why they were wrong about Brexit.

Pollster claim that they now know the reasons why they were so wrong about Brexit.

The linked article gives their main reasons.

I guess pollsters still want to be hired and get good pay.

Used to be I would just hang up on pollsters, but about 10 years ago I started participating. I give false answers every time, just to screw 'em up.

I think they design the questions so that they can tell when people are just purposely giving misdirected answers. Something tells me they may be just as sharp as you are...lol. Don't ask me why I feel this way...

Having written some polls in another life my usual question is "What results do you want so I know how to write the questions?"

I mean if you are really for Hillary are you going to answer Trump? Or vice-versa.
This is not like gun-decking your Nielson Ratings sheet like in the old days.

So that's why the Mittster was up by 12 points back in '12.

They may on occasion detect that I'm leading them astray, and that's ok, they still aren't getting my actual stance.
I think I'm pretty good at impersonating a liberal though. I just act like my kids did when they were teens. You guys give me plenty of fodder to draw from too.

I guess my only question is why?

What is it about americans that they feel the need to lie and screw other people up? It happens so often that no american can be trusted to tell the truth about anything. The bigger the lie the more willing we are to swallow it. It's become a huge problem in this country that no one can be trusted.

lies are a very ugly side of this country, that and the downright meanness of the people who do it just to fuck with other people.

Trump personifies that, it's capitalism American style, where making the sale literally Trumps fact.
