Since the Libertarians pull from Republicans, I'm good with it.

Maybe, maybe not. From the article:
But the numbers are far from cut-and-dry. Quinnipiac’s recent batch of swing state polls found that Trump’s standing in the race against Clinton improved slightly when all four candidates were included.

Its not really about victory for a 3rd party candidate. Its more about how votes for a 3rd party candidate could tip the scales one way or another for the two major candidates in close state races.

Progressives may feel held hostage against the prospect of a TrumPence victory, this limits options making a statement against "the machine" vs certain disaster for their ideals with an inexperienced undisciplined egotistical authoritarian manchild and a hard right uncompromised dogmatic partisan as the likely result of diluted opposition.

What about Rent Is Too Damn High party?
Maybe McMillan will clime the Washington monument this time then allow himself to be tared and feathered.
I think he'd get several % just as a backlash vote. Not sure wjich candidate he would hurt though.

I don't know which McMillan you're talking about but in the presidential race it's between a vulgar talking yam who's wife made the cover of the NY Post in her birthday suit and a policy wonk Wellesley graduate.
The Greenies are irrelevant and their leader is a nut doing a Harrold Stassen, imo.

To cut through all the BS, this election is between a billionaire and a multi-millionaire.

Everyone knows that on average billionaires are worse than millionaires.
Seriously though, we're a one party state with two wings.
