All of us are people, and deserve some level of respect. No one here is breaking any laws, or burning buildings, so take that shit out with the garbage, please. Mike's stepfather is understandably distraught, said something in anger, and regrets it.

If my eleven year old was killed by a cop for no good reason, I fear, like a few other parents here, that it would be game on. As citizens, we have lost control of our police departments. There is a good reason citizen review boards have been impaneled.

Obviously (I could be wrong so correct me if you wish) most of us here are white.
If you felt the life of your child was worth less in the "established" world of our society e.g. the courts, the business world, the community, etc because of the color of their skin you may feel like the people of Ferguson do.

I have not been convinced that Brown was not executed in the street is all that I am saying, and that probable cause was not a judgement that was beyond the reach of an objective grand jury process by an unbiased District Attourney in this case. Probable cause, not a conviction.

If anyone missed the snarcasm on my post, the point is this, if one is looking for a legitimate center on which to hang a cause such as police brutality against innocent civilians, that energy is squandered on an undeserving example celebrating the self inflicted demise of a common thug as that cause.

That is right, there was ample and legitimate reason to shoot him. However, the reason to kill him had expired, as he was no longer a physical threat to Wilson or any member of the public, after he had been wounded four times.
