The fine line between traditional liberal and neolibertarian/neoconservative
Bill Maher does a good job of highlighting differences in the attached video.

That was one of the better episodes, excepting that snickering and sneering punk assed neocon and the young, selfish and self entitled hottie from HuffPost. Bernie Saunders was OK when he wasn't trying to cope an inadvertant feel...

He played a dirty trick by binning Ron Paul in with neolibertarians/neoconservatives. Ron is old school. I have not gotten a feel for his son yet but so far it seems that he has not learned all the wisdom that his dad offered. That's understandable. Such details take time to appreciate.

To me, (neo)libertarians and neoconservatives are two different animals, particularly in the area of foreign policy. That said, Ron and Rand Paul are both nuts, though they both have a few good ideas. I suppose they're both living proof that a blind squirrel sometimes finds a nut.

I'm still scratching my head over traditional liberals being lumped into this basket of crazies. I hope it isn't something catching...

Inasmuch that today's so-called liberals are the antithesis to traditional liberals, I concur. Today's "liberals," now, once again, calling themselves progressives, have more to do with usurping freedom that fostering it. Having placed so much faith in government leaves little room for promoting individual liberty beyond stale egalitarian rhetoric.

They are different animals on paper. But in real life, in the halls of congress, they follow the same GOP script. Ron Paul was the last guy to dance his own dance while having an R by his name.

Probably only fair because today's so called conservatives are just wannabee libertarians approaching anarchy.

Is today's GOP a bunch of script-following mental midgets? Certainly.
Do Libertarians and NeoCons share the same political ideology? NFW.
