A big reason we are against them is they hate our laws.

Republicans in key battleground races refuse to say they will accept results

I had mentioned before that the fix is in to steal the next election, its a matter of where and when.

Quote:
Of the 19 GOP candidates questioned by The Washington Post, a dozen declined to answer or refused to commit. Democrats overwhelmingly said they would respect the results.

A dozen Republican candidates in competitive races for governor and Senate have declined to say whether they would accept the results of their contests, raising the prospect of fresh post-election chaos two years after Donald Trump refused to concede the presidency.
For now this may be just bluster, but the SCOTUS is no longer independent and is controlled by the GOP and the extreme right like the Federalist Society. Enemy of democracy is not the GOP but the SCOTUS, they can very well decline to review any election related cases under the guise of states rights.

Herschel Walker, I am dumber than you think. In fact I am not even sure if I have any children.

Quote:
Speaking to reporters on Friday, Walker was asked what kind of preparation he was doing for the debate.

“Talking to the voters, talking to you. You told me I gotta prepare, so I’m preparin’,” he said to the reporters. “I’m this country boy, you know, I’m not that smart. And he’s that preacher. He’s a smart man, wears these nice suits. So he going to show up there, embarrass me at the debate, October the 14th. And I’m just waiting, you know, I’ll show up and I’m [going to] do my best.”
Of course, his campaign is now saying this is sarcasm, but doesn't sound like it and he is lowering expectations.

For some football humor.

Ken Burns: ‘We’re in perhaps the most difficult crisis in the history of America’
In a new docuseries, the film-maker looks back to the Holocaust and US apathy to make links toward where we are right now

Knuckle-dragging MAGAMorons like our village idiot are a huge danger to democracy. And they simply don't care - they welcome authoritarianism, so long as it's of the Christo-fascist variety.

Can't go wrong with Christ, right. That's how they draw the sheep in. "If you're not with us, why then you're against God!". Too bad none of them are following his teachings.

Most Republicans Support Declaring the United States a Christian Nation

Completely incompatible with the Constitution, of course, but these Christo-fascists don't give a damn.

The Tipping Point of Stupid
In most states, you can’t pass yourself off as an election-denying January 6 truther and still be taken seriously by a majority of voters.

Our recent wing-nut candidate for governor is one of those deniers. It's the only way he has to get the wing-nut base to support him. Said wing-nuts were mighty disappointed when Gov. Hogan turned out to be what they call a RINO. Fortunately the majority of the states voters will have none of this malarkey.

FiveThirtyEight gives Dan Cox <1% chance of winning in Maryland. He's currently 20% behind in the polling, 38-58%. Thankfully, crazed wingnuts like Cox stand little chance in a highly-educated, wealthy state like Maryland. Little wonder why MAGAWorld is opposed to education.
