Sen. Sanders is a mensch and he's going to be an amazing part of the team that includes a veritable murderers row of Democratic surrogates facing the short fingered vulgarian and con man from Queens.

Sanders, Warren, Biden, Obama and Ol' Bill are going to slaughter the Republicans this summer and fall.

Whether he caved or not, he's now mostly irrelevant. Perhaps a decent Senate committee chair assignment if he plays nice.

That very much remains to be seen. He has started a movement with broader support and greater ideological clarity than the Tea Party. We'll have to see where that leads.

How many second place primary finishers actually remain relevant in the general election? How relevant is Ted Cruz at the moment? How about Rick Santorum in 2012? About as relevant as the losers of the NFC or AFC championships during Super Bowl week.

Our republican friend was just expressing his unbiased, well-reasoned opinion.

All are free to stay on the Bernie train and continue to be true believers - at least that is honest, more so than Bernie.
