It's not really a Lefty thing. We, and that means all of us, are getting the right individuals instead of just mowing down a country. Maybe I'm wrong, but I like when we kill the bad guys and less of our precious chidren are thrown away over the middle east.

That, my friend, is something that we can agree on. By killing the bad guys in Yemen, we are also taking down some of the more proficient terrorists. From what I have heard, the Yemen branch has some folks with some pretty sophisticated explosives technology.
And you know I was just BSing you (and Chas, really) about calling Chas a lefty.

D-Ray

Man dude, we have to have some fun. If we don't, this board will just dry up and disappear.
An exchange of trash talking is good for you. Kinda ties in to the home schooling thread and the lack of social interaction.
You can't be thin-skinned anymore.

In case you hadn't noticed, I like to argue. I guess it's a better way to have fun than S&M.

I note where the Ruskis want to get in on the drone bandwagon. They are ordering drones from the Israelis.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if they imbedded some Stuxnet-like virus into the drone's software in case some Arabs get their hands on them through a back channel.

The Left has a point when it comes to defense spending. The military industrial complex must be squashed unless we are willing to use these fabulous tools of war.

I agree, but I still have an unsettled feeling about it. There is a certain sanitized aspect to it that makes the decision to engage in war easier. I can easily envision a fleet of these things flying 24/7. Like all weapon systems, it is nice when you're the only player, but gets complicated as the technology spreads. I'd suspect that these things can become cheap enough for even small countries to deploy.
