The first corporate ownership of a life form, the Soybean, came into effect right after Clarence joined the Supreme Court. He was a federal patent lawyer just prior to this, after having worked for Monsanto for 4 years.

The ramafications are deep in the agricultural sector. Independent farmers aren't allowed to keep their own soybean seeds, because the DNA in them in registered with Monsanto. They even had thugs intimidate farmers that attempted to do this.

Industrial food is a CO2 polluter.

W/O industrial food many would starve. Because of increasingly high CO2 levels many will starve. A paradox?

He surely would have marched along if not for, you know, bone spurs. They'll come back on ya' without any warning. That plus that marathon of shark documentaries on the Discovery Channel. Bad timing I guess.
