This morning it was still at 2.80.
I'll be needing a fill up in a couple of days.
Hopefully I'll catch it at the bottom.
If I do maybe I'll fill up and then park my car and wait till it gets back up over $3 before I drive it.
That way I can buy low and drive high and make back some of the losses I'm taking on this last tank that I bought.

I go to the same three gas stations; one near home, one near work and one mid way. They tend to have the lower prices and I don't bother checking each time I fill up. I usually wait till the reserve lights up though.

Back in the day I had a 1962 Valiant that had a broken gas gauge.
Fortunately the odometer still worked so I used to fill up every 100 miles.

The cops around here are really cracking down on the folks who drive high.

Cool. If it was over $3.13 recently, you just saved a sawbuck!

But, the redneck thinks he's that smart one, Tom. Because the guy on the bike "looks so gay" riding down the road on a bicycle. I ride and you'd be amazed how many times I've been told that by some chuckling asshole.
This is one of the reasons why I fucking hate rednecks.

I've done a lot of biking in my time and I have plenty of stories of abuse by assholes. They pick on bikers because they know they can get away with it.

Actually the correct term is a Fin. That's a five dollar bill. A sawbuck is a ten, although for many years I thought it meant a five.
But that's not the way I look at it Don. This morning gas was down another penny to 2.75. So, since I bought 13.4 gallons yesterday at 2.76 I am now consider myself down 13.4 cents on my investment.
