France24 in French and English, in addition to that BBC and Al Jazz.

How bad is CNN? When - for example - an airplane tries to learn swimming in the Hudson river the CNN coverage about that can´t go wrong that much...?

Yes, in fact a local over the air station broadcasts the CNN feed when something like that happens. But thankfully things of that magnitude do not happen every day. This means there is an awful lot of filler time and needing of an audience to pander to in order to sell commercial time to.

What Carl means HK is that if there was a CNN in Berlin and a fire happened in Munich the Berlin CNN would be broadcasting the local Munich Deutchwelle feed to all of Germany....so that all Germans would see what the Munchin locals would be seeing...

that is how the USA does breaking stories like natural disasters, airplane crashes, etc
