LOL!

I've been calling them the Guarindians. The name change is ticking some people off but hey, whatever the younger bunch wants.

I wear an Indians polo on Fridays during season, my wife is concerned I'll be seen as racist. I'll end up replacing it with a Guardians shirt when it wears out.

The statues are the Guardians of Traffic. So, if you're ever having traffic issues, have we got the baseball team for you!

The major issue now is inflation. Has it peaked?

It seems to me inflation is another name for corporate greed.

The Fed's unwillingness to use its tools is a sign of the time. The well-connected have become accustomed to easy money. This guy Powell is a joker; he has been playing. That is why we need a Volcker.

Libertarians give me hives. They're bums and grifters.

He did get the national debt on the voters radar at least.

He did have some... interesting... allies though!

My big problem with Libertarians is, they hold the government can't tell anyone what to do, IE 'we' collectively can't make our own group decisions, all the way down to the local level.

My big problem with libertarians is they are all rights and no duty. All duty and no rights is totalitarianism, of course. It's one of those areas where you want balance, and you always have to be fussing to try to get it.

The basic libertarian tenet is elimination of accountability for golden rulers and their enablers.
Welcome to authoritarian fascism.

Just saw on Youtube the Budget Committee Hearing which was chaired by Senator Sanders.

It revealed the enormous pricing power of very profitable corporations. Such a state of affair is made easy by the lack of competition due to the ever increasing monopolistic, olegarchic character of the US economy.
