If you follow the link in post #120 y'all might be surprised. I have not finished the article yet as our copy of the Atlantic only arrived this week. But it certainly casts a new light on some of the claims and counter claims in this thread.

I think the summary of the Atlantic discussion in the Washington Post is pretty good as well.
