Just heard that on the local radio station. They are going to play a vinyl tribute to him today. Always loved the live version of "Must Have Got Lost".

I remember how big they were in Cleveland and "Love Stinks." I bought Freeze Frame in 1981. I really loved Rage In A Cage.

They instantly bring me back to circa 1977. I would never want to be the following act.
J. Geils was the most understated of all the band members. RIP

One of the best concerts I ever saw was J Geils - I think it was 1979 - at the former Pine Knob Music Theater outside of Detroit.
