WTF? Are you living in some sort of Third World backwater?

Pho is absolutely one of my favorite lunch foods and Sriracha is an essential condiment. While you're looking for a good Pho joint, Pete, look also for a place than makes the excellent Vietnamese sub sandwiches, Banh Mi. Equally awesome to Pho.

A quick bit of Googling indicates the 2 highest rated Pho/Banh Mi places are on the 3000 block of Superior Ave. (Superior Pho, Saigon Grill).

Ah, in our little Chinatown, thanks. Truth be told I haven't been downtown proper in ages. Might be a good reason to go.

Yep, we have it on all the local news. Looks like he needs a filtered ventilation system to be there. Hope he figures out something that works for everybody.

The article in the LA Times points out that some neighbors are not bothered by the smell at all.....strange.

I already used my LA Times monthly quota so I just get a redirect to the front page. Somehow the area where I am dodged the fumes from the Richmond Chevron fire. The highly toxic smoke went a bit north and mostly southerly to the hills, but it always has worked that way here where I live. Just like every child born in the unincorporated area next to that refinery has asthma. But that's another story. Or two.
