In my late teens I worked for Combustion Engineering, a very large boiler maker. In the power plants we built for the pulp and paper industry we reclaimed all sorts of useful materials from the chimney gases. In a nation that brags about its innovative spirit why has someone not done similar work fr coal fired plants?

Not that I approve of shearing off mountain tops to get at the coal
