Here is a scientific view - I doubt it will make any headway here. Just as the gun nuts of the right refuse to hear the logic of greater restriction, the climate religionists will not listen to science.

People are pretty set in their ways once they get invested, doesn't matter if it's wrong and doesn't matter what political party they belong to.

Considering that, among the scientists who actually study this phenomenon, there is an overwhelming consensus in support of the reality and dangers of anthropogenic climate change, the statement above is both insulting and absurd.

The few scientist espousing the contrarian view are of the same stripe as those who argued that smoking posed no danger to human health. We've seen this movie before and we should know how it ends.
