Great photo Rob. Spaying and neutering is an absolute must. All of the Feline Hoard were fixed at six months around here.

Hi Whell, I've also been using the computer as a source/pre amp for a while now. I found a couple of those Magnavox 150 console amps, (mono biamp jobs) for the power section. I picked up an M-Audio Audiophile soundcard on Bartertown for only $40, sounds damn good to me.
I sure wish that I could make it to the Fest! You outta hang the PC shingle on the door to your listening room. If I was there I would have to dig out one of my old tie dyed t shirts, my sandles and some mardi gras beads.
Have a good time! We expect pictures, you know. It's always cool to put faces to who we talk with here and at AK.

There is a group here that gets a good price for people looking after ferals. Unfortunately we had to trap them to get that done, pretty traumatic for the kitties. All except the calico will now let me pet them. I guess all told with the five kitty campers and the spay/neuter it was probably under $750. They only draw about 40 watts each so not expensive to operate and it keeps them warm in winter.

It is amazing how proficient they are at finding any source of heat. They like car hoods - on or under.

The problem here was that the mother cat gave birth to the four kittens under a bush at the miserable neighbour's house. She wanted me to help her catch them so (as she put it) she could wring their necks. Well I don't know if you ever tried herding cats, needless to say they never got caught. We used to have a big orange tom that lived on the porch, he used to let the mother cat eat from his dish, she looked like death warmed over. But she is a smart kitty so she brought the four kittens over and they adopted us. Now the mother cat is kinda fat. We used a drop trap in the end to get them to the vet. The orange tom either went walkabout or the neighbour got him too.

That neighbor is a sick POS- I just don't understand that kind of mentality.

Looks like I just bought a Scott 299D over at the other place. Taking a chance, and it is lacking output tubes. But I just couldn't resist.
And, back to the topic at hand, I am sure it would make a heck of a fine resting place for a feline. Better get a wood case for it tho.

Awesome! Wood case and some fine screen to keep the cat hairs out.
