That war started way too late (W should have sent special forces in on Sept 12 to deal with the bastards, not too much later), and now has gone on too long.

Al Qaeda had 300 members. How many Americans does it take to wipe out 300 Al Qaeda members? Sounds like a sad joke.

But I do know one thing. If the USA can't go out and stomp a mudhole is someone's ass in under 10 years, then we're doing something wrong.

It's time to change tactics and spare those young soldiers who are now on their 2nd or 3rd tour.

The trouble is that our soldiiers must never fire on civilians, so where does the Taliban fire their RPGs and rockets from? Why from the middle of any handy civilian enclave.
