Anyone following the region knows this to be true. The CIA knows this.....a lot of these guys are CIA trained. The Indians have been complaining for a long time but we looked away. Pakistan with its nuclear capability is the most dangerous islamic state. Who is in charge of this shit? Instead of trying to prevent a nuclear Pakistan we cozied up and attempted to buy them off. There are a large number of crazy muslims in high places there. I think the CIA has messed up again.......a result of old COLD WAR thinking.

Pakis have always played both sides of the fence.

We can't just walk away, nukes are 1 very good reason, we need to try to help the civil Paki government in its fight against their darker forces.

Lots of truth here, Swami. In Pakistan, the civilian leadership is kinda sorta an ally of ours. Their military leadership and the OSI, not so much. What we can't really seem to figure out is how interwoven the civilian and military leadership is.

Right. They like both women and little boys. Or was that the Afghans? Hard to keep track anymore.

I think you're confusing them with Tele-evangelists or priests.

Pete, you do realize that Paki is a pejorative term.

It seems to me that it may be well deserved after the Kabul embassy raid and their apparent harboring of OBL.

I didn't know, I just used it at a short name. Do they have an abbreviated name that's safe to use?

Polite talking assholes or PTAs. Sorry, but I have no love for them after the Osama crap. Actually, i do not want anything to disturb the flow of the delicious Basmati rice I get from the region.
