Makes sense to me. It is their country. We can at least be respectful of their cultural norms.

Why can't the soldiers talk politics with the locals? I wonder if the adminstration is concerned with some of the comments & discussions making it back into our newspapers..?

They sure had a funny way of inviting us there (9/11).

Not to defend us being there for a decade, however. We may have pulled them from the 12th to the 13th century in the past decade, but I think they need to do the rest for themselves.
