Once those hayseeds in 'Bama realize that this law isn't going to transform their backwater existence in any meaningful way (there are relatively few illegal aliens in 'Bama to begin with), they may realize that the politicians have just been pandering to their anger/resentment.

On second thought, they won't realize it.

Yeah some of the crap going on lately convinces me that there was one time when Churchill was wrong when he said "The admirable thing about Americans is that you can count on them to do the right thing - after they have tried every conceivable alternative." Either there is a whole lot of alternatives out there, or they are not about to do the right thing anytime soon.

Is that right? You really do think you're better than everyone else don't you?
It's funny to read a post like that. You are the one that's angry because the country doesn't like you or your snobby attitude. It's you and your whacked out Lefty friends that are "angry" about everything...period.
Your gonna lose and your mad.
Get counseling or just over it.
BTW, since there are "relatively few", I guess the police are just full of shit about the cost, jail space, and all the other union crap they spew. Thank you for calling them out!

Nope, just better than those who pander to anger and resentment for the sake of politics.

I wonder if you'll see them flee your state like they are fleeing Alabama? Parents are pulling kids out of school in a hurry, and leaving the state. One of the schools had 200 Hispanic kids leave in a week. Dang, that many in just 1 school? If legal, why are they fleeing AL, and where are they going next?

Probably here. California has so many, both legal and illegal, that it would be difficult to differentiate. That, and the liberal policies here, means they would feel welcomed. Mexicans will politically control California in just a few more decades.

Lots have fled already, but I think they feel safe here because they can get back over the border very quickly if need be. They won't be buying anymore houses though.

Does this mean we won't be seeing refried beans and tortillas in the stores
