If what I remember from you link is accurate (my memory, not the link), a share of GM is going for 75 cents.

That's right. If my memory serves the 52 week low was 27 cents and the high was $18.18. Pitiful doesn't even begin to describe it.

But as Chas pointed out below, the bastids are putting 500 million into a plant in Mexico. Maybe the prez oughta tell them dump the Mexico idea, or we'll dump all of your stock on the market at once. That's a thought - Gm trading as a penny stock.

Is it bad if they're building cars there for the Chinese market? Is it bad that BMW and Toyota build cars here?

I thought this whole GM bailout thing was about creating good paying jobs in America.
Why should the taxpayer be on the hook for billions so that they can invest in China or Mexico?
