Painter, you need to recognize it for what it is - fodder for the nativists. It seems the makers of this video learned a lesson or two from Reagan and the GOP. BTW, you can't really say that the Brits didn't have it coming after their history of colonialism.

Yes, all of the Brits are now living in the gutter and under bridges. Just like we here in America are forced to eat our pets and our grandchildren have been robbed of any possible future.

Looks like we'll have to straighten all of that out by cutting Medicare and giving the savings to billionaires so they can stash it in offshore accounts.

My British cousins will be surprised to know that they are living in squallor, most are living in Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire.

Every country...city... has areas that are a shame upon us.
I believe a country's citizens should come first. Just as in a family...charity and the dignity of citizens begins at home. We do pay for those in need to be cared for. Give me more credit than assuming all Brits live in squallor. Thats like saying only some bears crap in the woods!

Frankly, painter, it's hard to give you credit for anything after that little beauty of BNP propaganda, followed up with a sensational story from the Sun, Murdoch's most disgusting paper.

And let's compare and contrast these supposed squalid conditions of temporary housing for these British troops to our own treatment, under Bush, of wounded GIs at WRAMC.

I will agree that the video was not so funny at all. Hate is never funny, and there was a lot of hate depicted in that video - hate of the "other" - inciting fear of the "other" - identifying the "other" as a threat to "our" way of life. Nope, I don't find that message funny at all.
