What's up?

Another board I belong to has a thread, were folks can just BS and talk about what's happening or whatever. It really works well.

So we should have one, being the superior board on the internets

I'll start by saying it's been a good week so far here I think.

Pete

Does this mean I get to sneak in a plug for the kid's band (Sobriquet), or that they are playing at the Riot Room in KC tomorrow night? It's definitely whassup for me.

Regards,

D-Ray

Actually, come to think of it, there is hardly a thread on here where we don't feel free to BS a bit about this or that. A thread entirely devoted to that is a good idea, though. Props, Pete.

D-Ray

Thanks! Too bad the Riot Room's a bit of a drive for me Very cool.

It's a nice day here, tonight I'll have to start prepping the yard for winter.

I see a few devil's horns in your picture too. You don't live THAT far south, do you?

Considering the avatars you have sported, I would really be interested in seeing a picture of your petting zoo.

Regards,

D-Ray

We have a costume party every year about the time of Halloween. Been doing it for 20 years or more. Sometimes things get plumb silly. This year I made my own version of Brunswick Stew. Somebody may be interested. Here's how it goes......

6/8 boneless skinless chicken breasts, lightly roasted and cubed.
three pounds of medium shrimp, peeled.
Two Hillshire Farms Smoked Sausages, cut into 1/2 inch chunks.
One Hillshire Farms Anduille Sausage cut into 1/2 inch chunks.
4 cans of Whole Sweet Kernel Corn.
4 cans of Diced Tomatoes.
4 packages of Frozen Baby Lima Beans.
4 packages of frozen Okra , sliced.
4 diced Bell Peppers.
One clump of Celery, Sliced 1/2 inch.
Two Onions, diced.
Chicken broth (Enough to cover the above)
Spices to suit your taste. (Salt, Pepper, Basil, Thyme, Oregano, Paprika, etc.)

Every thing goes into a great big stock pot and simmers overnight.
Serve with corn bread and you favorite beverage and a boat load of your favorite people. It will warm up a chilly fall evening.
