Why did the police take down the barriers and let them in? Why were the capital police so incompetent in protecting one of the most heavily fortified buildings in the US? No fire, no guns. And when they did quite literally LET THEM IN, they stayed within the velvet ropes and destroyed no desks, burned no carpets, toppled no statues. There was a broken window, but even when one random guy in the crowd tried to smash an exterior window, the other protesters pulled him down and yanked him away - and it was all captured on video.
This was not so much a "violent" crowd as a "large" crowd. And this is what happens when an election is stolen in broad daylight from an extremely popular president.
