On the other hand, this is a repeat of 2016's Prez election in that:

- polling had Ossoff up BIG right up to election day, and polling results failed to even come close to resembling election results

- Handel and company spent a fraction of the money that Ossoff and company spent, and that "investment" failed to pay significant dividends.

Further:

Democrats may try to call the outcome a moral victory, but it doesn’t change the fact that they’re 0-4 for congressional races this year, even after spending millions of dollars and whipping up a hyper-motivated base.

"Race better be a wake up call for Democrats — business as usual isn't working," tweeted Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA). "Time to stop rehashing 2016 and talk about the future."

Moulton is right. "Keep it up, Dems" ain't working.

The Dems need to replace their inept corporate serving leadership. Good luck with that.

I agree with you totally on this but convincing the leaders that they are incapable of leading is impossible. They will need to be voted out or retired and term limits anyone?
Or better yet, how about an age limit?

Now you're just making shit up. Ossoff was never up big in the polling, Mike.

add. Particularly after the shootings in Alexandria. The dark money PACs were waving the bloody shirt so much that Ms. 'Crosscheck' Handel had to disavow one of the worst ads.

Not much mention of it now on the lefty media.

If he had won it would have been an earthquake tsunami from hell and the end of the Republican Party.

True enough in that it would have been an inexperienced 30-year old dweeb who didn't even live there taking a House seat that has been comfortably in Republican hands for decades. The GOP losing it would have been a far bigger story than them retaining it.
