That's the same tactic racists like TC have used against affirmative action. Qualified applicants of color to them just becomes "applicants of color". None are worthy. To these racists no one but Whites are qualified.

The Repugs will fight tooth and nail on her nomination citing their Kavanaugh confirmation hearings, but since they cannot pick on her credentials, they will try and score political points with their base on race, gender and sosialism.

Paul Ryan tweeted this but then he is related to her by marriage.

Janna and I are incredibly happy for Ketanji and her entire family. Our politics may differ, but my praise for Ketanji's intellect, for her character, and for her integrity, is unequivocal.

Conservatives aren't afraid that she will be an ineffective Associate Justice, they're afraid of how effective she'll be.

Ketanji Brown Jackson Was Subjected to Misogynoir, According to Two Legal Scholars

Not one bit surprised at the crap the Repukes threw against Judge Jackson trying to se what would stick. Trying vainly to throw cover for their already decided rejection of a more than qualified nominee.

Interesting (sarcasm) that so many Repubes thought she was perfectly fine as a judge until she was nominated to the SC. Odd that they didn't see her " *Left-Wing, extremist, dark money sponsored, soci@list" background until now.

*Their words not mine

Wake me up when they have a valid reason.

The Repubs keep coming up with the most interesting excus, er, reasons not to endorse Judge KBJ to the Supreme Court. Of course they don't want to come out and state their real reasons for opposing her nomination so...

GOP Sen. Richard Burr is opposing Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson over 'court packing

Along with questioning her faith or whether she believes babies are racist, another thing that doesn't matter in the least.

Quote:
But coming out against her nomination Thursday, retiring Sen. Richard Burr picked an issue over which Jackson has no control: increasing the number of Supreme Court justices, often referred to as "court packing."
How do they let such absolute horse shit pass through their lips and still keep straight faces.
