Where do the paper clip and trash can icons come from
I mean is there a forum fairy that just bestows them upon threads; are they controlled by posters or moderators; and what do they mean? I think I can infer the opinion being expressed by the choice of one of another, but never can be sure.

Ok, that's not TOO bad. If you picture a slightly drunken ugly fairy accidently crashing through windows with a santa bag of paper clips to leave under pillows and get stuck in eyes.
