I think you're mistaken. The NYT and other papers were sent advanced copies of the Schweizer book. Since that time, they've been "reviewing" it. Other organizations have been fact checking it and found it.... um.... somewhat wanting in the accuracy department.

Schweizer works for Breitbart.

As politically savvy as the clintons are, I can only imagine that they kept things nice and tidy finance wise knowing that opponents would be looking for dirt once she announced she was running.
