It's the "overt" that has me worried. A call to his buddy Vlad for help to fight "them evil Democrats". His cult, and other spineless Repubs, would be all for it. You know, that civil war they yearn for.

I am not so much worried about any covert actions, just a handful of states determine the winner to the WH. The Democratic party is in very good shape with the Republican party in disarray in some key states like MI, WI, NV & AZ. Trump will be anointing Whatley, Lara Trump and LaCicita to head the RNC and take over their money. This will lead to some serious infighting because there will be little or no money in the RNC coffers for state and local campaigns.

Can the Dems capitalize? Very much doubt it. Trump has a much better chance in 2024 than he did in 2020. Our only hope is that the court cases can do irreparable damage to Trump and the Dem voters will come out and vote for some weak players but a worthy cause.

President is Biden having one of the most successful presidencies in history yet his popularity is in decline.

Its not that Trump is any more winnable in 2024 than he was in 2020, its that the Biden/Harris ticket is more beatable. Kamala Harris second in line will give a lot of male voters in this country pause, aka no show at the polls.

My response is more as an odds maker, not someone with a vested political interest. After all I wrote in for Biden in 2016 because I thought HRC was easily beatable.

Biden has not given any compelling reason to vote for him again, what can you do for me outweighs what you have done. Saying only he can beat Trump is from a sample of two; HRC lost and Biden won.

Trump has given every reason not to vote for him yet he is running away with the nomination and soon will have a stranglehold on the RNC.

Incumbents should not be able to get the nomination without another round of vetting because people, situations and electorate changes constantly.

But primaries are conducted by individual parties, in our case just two and they are both private entities, aka money talks.

President Biden has given many compelling reasons to vote for him again in 2024 with the preeminent reason being keeping the Presidency out of the hands of an insurrectionist.

Much of President Biden's agenda requires congressional support to enact and fund. That agenda includes reducing prescription drug costs to all Americans with an OOP cap of $2,000.
