Maybe. He's also highly corrupt.

I literally spewed coffee on my keyboard reading that, Dondi. You're a funny man.

You may be onto something, tho. AG 'Low'Barr makes former AG Mitchell look like an amateur.

Meh. I see the attempt to fire Berman by 'saying' he resigned when he hadn't as the act, not of a competent man, but a desperate one. Trump had ordered him to fire Berman without involving Trump, but Barr didn't have the power to do that. When his last gambit fell on its face, he HAD to go back to his leader and say 'I have failed, you'll have to do it.'

Nadler says House 'may very well' pursue impeachment of Attorney General William Barr

https://www.cnn.com/2020/06/24/polit...ess/index.html

He certainly deserves to be impeached, and thrown behind bars.

All the worrisome things happening at the DOJ could be just the tip of the iceberg
By Ruth Marcus

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opini...1ff_story.html

Quote:
To adapt the famous Watergate query to this moment, what don’t we know about the Justice Department, and why don’t we know it? The answers are, in turn: probably a lot. And: because Attorney General William P. Barr has been dodging his responsibility to submit to congressional oversight.

It is becoming alarmingly difficult to keep track of all the reasons to worry about what’s happening at Justice under Barr — and increasingly clear that what we know that is worrisome may be the tip of the iceberg. And it is becoming absolutely imperative that Barr and other senior department officials testify about their activities.

Last Friday saw the botched massacre of Geoffrey Berman, the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York. The episode was telling for those, myself included, who once had higher hopes for Barr’s second stewardship of the department.

Damning with faint praise?

Walmart Was Almost Charged Criminally Over Opioids. Trump Appointees Killed the Indictment.
Even as company pharmacists protested, Walmart kept filling suspicious prescriptions, stoking the country’s opioid epidemic. A Republican U.S. Attorney in Texas thought the evidence was damning. Trump’s political appointees? Not so much.

https://www.propublica.org/article/w...the-indictment

Quote:
In recent weeks, the DOJ’s inaction has begun to raise concerns on Capitol Hill. Jerrold Nadler, the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, sent a letter to Dhillon and Barr expressing “concern regarding the Department’s inability to hold prescription opioid distributors and chain pharmacies accountable.” A hearing may follow.
In Texas, questions grow about a lesser-known US Attorney ousted by Attorney General Barr

Billy's corruption to protect Donny and his political contributors and allies never ends. Billy must be arrested and imprisoned, for life.

Four ways Billy Barr is already subverting the 2020 elections
Safeguarding the vote would be the top priority of a normal attorney general. It’s the opposite now.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlo...c93_story.html

Quote:
There are four ways that Barr’s approach to running the Justice Department imperils the vote: He’s letting off the hook those who contributed to interference in the last election; he’s undermining confidence in the government’s ability to protect the coming election; he’s signaling to bad actors that helping President Trump win will garner them special treatment under the law; and he’s spreading disinformation about the potential for voter fraud.
