On the Ed Show the host pointed out that Mitt may just be worried about being too wealthy and having everyone know his exact worth. Schultz mentioned the idea of $6 billion ....have no idea if that is true or not.
It would be be much better to lay out completely legal tax returns even if they do reveal his real worth than to hide it and appear guilty of something he is not. Everyone thought Nixon was secretive but Mitt makes him look like cellophane. And my friends, and if you were around when he was President you know this is true, Nixon could connect with the average American.

Yeah, The Nation, the magazine that has a "This Week In Poverty" section. I forgot about them. I'll take a look again.

Barney
He was appointed President in his first run by five black robed "kings" of the US. Then in his second run he was losing Ohio badly according to exit polling. Then magically the the numbers seemed to turn in favour of Bush. Then the exit polling statistics blew up and made no sense. Fox News immediately declared that Bush took Ohio.

The people never voted Bush in. SCOTUS did it in Florida and Blackwell did it in Ohio by rigging the electronic voting machines. The Diebold machines used in Ohio can easily be hacked in less than a minute using a compromised card and a key to open the access door to the card. All Diebold keys are the same. It would have been very easy to send "voters" out with a key and a compromised card. Pop that baby in and presto changeo three votes for Kerry turns into two votes for Bush and one for Kerry.

Even Mitt's his own party is calling him out for dodging this question. The President's conjecture was that he might not have paid any or very little in taxes in some of those years would certainly be unpopular in the blue collar red states that are appearing to be up for grabs.

Mitt also garnered three pinochios for his assertion that Kerry only revealed two years. Actually it was Kerry's wife who was browbeaten into revealing two years and she wasn't even running.

Maybe the Koch bros. and Adelsohn are right about Romney's campaign staff. They seem like a bunch of amateurs by not even confirming some of the stories they float up. Delinquent frat boys running a Presidential campaign!

What I find hillarious are their calls for an apology from President Obama. To which they were told to stop whining and put on their big boy pants. It's about time that the President's camp started giving these turkey's a taste of their own medicine. Unlike Romney's bunch of juvenile delinquents the President's team has been kicking some ass lately. To be honest it hasn't been that elusive of a target.

I'm so sick of that. "Oh there he goes again, blaming Bush." Of course he does, it's the fucking truth. Bush WAS a boob and the GOP majorities we had up until 2006 did a terrible job of running this country. How do you think we ended up with the Dems winning in '06 and '08 in the first place? Oh, I know, "They cheated."........

No, the GOP lost because the GOP has become a useless POS. Look at all of the elements of Conservative Republican ideology that HAVE taken hold over the last 30+ years......

All of the union busting, deregulation of various industries, airlines and what-not..appeasing the 1%...etc., etc., etc........

Clinton gave them Glass-Steagal and increased "Free Trade" through NAFTA, MFN status for China, etc....What happened? How has this "healthy competition" actually benefitted us? Lower prices? Pretty useless to people who have no fucking jobs, union or non, partly due to outsourcing, and still can't afford to buy anything even if they did.

Obama agreed to extend the Bush tax cuts....twice.....Where are the jobs?

Oh, I know. The Bush era levels of taxation are no longer good enough, the piglets want more now. So we have to keep the job market tight until they get what they want. Then they'll start hiring.....until the next time they decide they want more and then more, and then, more.........

How can ANYONE call this success (or "Freedom")?

Another 30 years of this "Suck up to the rich and everything will be just fine." bullshit and we'll all NEED our 2nd Amendment right for basic survival........

But, then, they do long for the "Good ol' Days" of Davey Crockett and Dan'l Boone and seem bound and determined to drag us all backwards to those days..............

Dave

And it's because of all of this incrased tax-cutting that is being proposed they'll be able to pay down the national debt.

Right. Well, it only makes good sense that when you've maxxed out your cards and can't make the payments.....The first thing you do is quit your job? Right?

Of course....If that spending is on something that might create jobs, and therefore more tax revenues............
