Bad analogy You could analogize as follows: I thought it might be fun to get into the rental business. So, i paid $1,000,000 that I took out of my kid's bank accounts for a $500,000 house so I could rent it out and see how the rental business felt.

As far as your other choice of words above, werent you whining to me the other day in another thread about how I say mean nasty things to you? I guess you never heard the one about living and a glass house and throwing stones, huh?

Typical response...making noise about source.

Anyway Joad, the position of your post is what is consistent with what happened in Brooklyn and Queens (NY).

In Brooklyn it was largely Russian money and in Queens Chinese money.

Like it or not, the Post remains the gold standard for political reporting in this country, a position it has held unchallenged for nearly 50 years. Fox News, Townhall, Daily Caller, Breitbart, NewsMax, InfoWars? Not so much. FWIW, the Post's David Ignatius broke the story that led to Flynn resigning.

That's like saying Lance Armstrong remains the gold standard for cycling.

Your view is not surprising for a guy who gets his news from Youtube and a expat Putin fangirl.

And like the price of gold, the value of the so called "gold standard for political reporting" has suffered in value of late, and no sign of a significant upward valuation.

Yup, the guy who has made a career of quoting "un-named sources", AKA leakers", inside the CIA. Yippee for him.
