Who Killed noonereal?

I have been accused of the deed. So I went looking for the evidence.

Here's the last we've seen of noonereal:

09-29-2016, 08:58 AM Noonereal's last post. He was responding to not-that-heavy criticism from Finn. I'll quote it:

Quote:
wow

this place is officially a cesspool

later all
I sympathize with the general feeling at least. But I was not involved with Noonereal AT ALL in that thread. My last interactions with him were almost two months earlier. Here are links and descriptions:

8/5/16 9:26 AM Last post of noonereal that directly replies to one of mine. A comment with a note of approval and no rancor.

08-04-2016, 08:24 AM This post is the last one of mine I can find that directly replies to one of noonereal's. He'd taken Barbara quite strongly to task for calling Tom Joad 'delusional.' My sarcastic response, mild enough imho, was to the effect that we hadn't seen objections from him when Joad called people far worse. Noonereal's response, three messages downthread, did not take the point but did not offer further argument.

08-04-2016, 09:13 AM Another post that day of noonereal's that directly replies to one of mine. Closely follows the above, in same thread. He lol's and agrees with my vulgar quip slamming Clint Eastwood (for a vulgar saying on Eastwood's part).

There were almost two months between the interactions cited above in early August, and noonereal's departure at the end of Sept. The August posts don't seem, to me, to include hurtful content that could support the claim that some delayed effect of them was what 'drove him out.'

Now much older and sharper exchanges can be cited, but it's not like I picked on him, while he never said boo to me. Far from it. And the period of prominent conflict ended long before noonereal's departure.

I did not mean to be so hard on you Don.

You were only one of a number of people that bullied him.

Noonereal's sin as I see it was that he said a few positive things about Trump.

He also said some negative things about him and I would not categorize him as a Trump supporter.

He was even handed.

What I am concerned about is all the knee jerk demonetization of all things Trump, not only by the majority of people on this forum, but from Democrats in general.

As I have said before, there are a number of Trump's positions that I like and that Democrats should like. His views on trade, infrastructure, foreign interventionism, social security.

These are areas where he is going to meet substantial resistance from the Republicans in congress and he will need help from the Democrats. However, what I am seeing is just blind hatred from the Democrats. What I fear will happen is that the Democrats are going to alienate Trump to the point where he says "Fuck it" and abandons the more populist elements of his agenda.

And considering that most Democrats are owned by their wealthy donors that hate Trump's populism, maybe that's the plan.

I am really excited by Trump's latest populist legislation that he has just sent to Congress.

I didn't like the overtly sexist terms he used describing Hillary ("old woman").
Then he would post comments of concern about the low wages and employment situation of his daughter. I don't think he understood the connection between his attitude and the economic situation women face. I had respected him before that post about Hillary.

No one killed him with words here at PC.

And that reminds me of another thing I like about Trump.

He doesn't carry Political correctness to the point of absurdity which has become the practice in our society.

Tell you what.

If you can somehow get in contact with him, offer him your sincere apologies for bullying him, and convince him to return, I might consider partially forgiving you on a temporary probationary basis.

Deal?

Another thing I like is Trump's willingness to improve relations with Russia.

I do not want another cold war with them.

That would be stupid.

Except for the MIC, which would profit enormously from it.

Trump doesn't give a shit about anyone or anything but his own image and his own wallet. Count on it. I believe that all of those working class people who've put their faith in Trump are in for a disappointment. It's all a big show to get whatever it is that he's really after. That's how he has always been. Maybe you're one of those people who apparently didn't know he existed before 2012? I dunno. I'm still wondering what he is promising all of these corporate snakes and what it's going to cost us in the end. All of these sudden promises to return manufacturing..................

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

I know one thing; Someone needs to tell the porn queen trophy wife to move into the fucking Whitehouse or tell your fucking king to pay for her security himself.

No. No one should ever apologize to Trump, either.
