If something doesn't happen with negoations this weekend for the union janitors, 15,000 of them in DC and the surrounding area are going on strike Monday.

I talked with one of the managers for the company in our building today, and they said they already have 200 scabs lined up to do the work..

Unions aren't near as strong as they were, and the companies know that, so aren't afraid to use scabs. People are so desperate they don't care about crossing picket lines..

Times are a changing.. It's just going to piss off the unions even more, and they'll be bringing more to the OWS table..

Vowels are my problem.. I guess I can blame southern schools and acccent. My wife gets is and teaches me cool ways to remember instead of listening to myself say the word..
