Rough, edgy transfers, the originals must sound good judging from what comes thru.

This compilation of Peggy Lee's radio station transcriptions is one of my faves. Very low key, small group stuff, not the later, more commercial, string-laden records. There's another set with June Christy, who wasn't nearly as mature musically as Peggy at the time (though she certainly blossomed later on).
