“There is still a lot of thinking on the right that if big corporations are happy, they’re going to take the money they’re saving and reinvest it in American workers. In fact they bought back shares, a few gave out bonuses; there’s no evidence whatsoever that the money’s been massively poured back into the American worker.”

Idiots like Whell will just label him a RINO, and continue on with their ignorance.

Rubio is adjusting for the hammering he took from the kids and their supporters.

Naw. Lil' Marco still thinks he's got a shot at the top job once Trump is cleaning toilets at Riker's.

Reducing his chance of getting the job by countering Repub economic dogma in a tight election year.

I suspect Dems are going to use this and Marco will look awful to the party faithful.

Marco is just trying to re-ingratiate himself to his locals through pocket book issues.
The locals were deeply affected by the school shooting and Marco was seen as politician bought by the NRA.

By reaching out to the left on gun control, Marco pissed of the Dems. By trying to triangualte over the tax cut, he'll end up pissing everyone off.

The kid will never learn.

Yep, Republican dogma demands fealty to a failed economic fairy tale.

Larry Summers: Trump’s economic growth is 'unsustainable'

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/larry...102705629.html

“What we don’t have is what we’ve always had in the past, which is plenty of room for the Fed to cut rates,” Summer says. “Depending on when it happens, it’s very unlikely that there’s going to be room for the Fed to cut rates by anything like the 500 basis points that’s usually been necessary to restore prosperity. That’s why I’m uneasy that we have a more brittle economy than most people recognize.”

Of course, Summers is a subject matter expert, exactly the sort of person Trumpies like Whell despise.
