*Qualifying statement: I saw something or other (animated feature) with Ferrell doing the voice of the principle character. I thought he did a great job. Maybe it's just that I don't like watching him.

It looks like this might be a decent one too. But then again the trailers for most of his movies have been funny. It's just that there is not enough substance to sustain an entire movie. My sons love him, though. Maybe it's a generational thing.

Stranger Than Fiction isn't a comedy. Maybe that's why I thought it was good. I like comedy, but not the sophomoric stuff Ferrell usually makes. That said, Elf is cute around Christmas.
