To put it even more clearly, they prepare our immune system to fight infections. You must be infected for the antibodies to have anything to do

Yep, and totally self-interested politicization at that.

What you said didn't need correction. I just want to emphasize the word infection because it makes totally clear what vaccines do, and don't do. They fight infection, usually keeping it at a non-serious level, often keeping it so low you never notice a symptom. But they don't do a thing to keep a few viruses from getting up your nose and infecting you in the first place. If unmasked, vaccinated people get infected just as easily as anyone else.
